Employee Pension Plans (EPP) are a form of the so-called 3rd Pillar of the Social Security system. Their essence is group saving organized and financed by employees. Kancelaria Wojewodka i Wspolnicy Sp. k. has several years of unique experiences on the market in designing and implementing pension plans and programs.
We co-created several dozen EPPs in all forms provded by the PPE Act, and organized employee pension societies and employee pension funds.
Our assistance in the field of EPP may include:
- Assistance in choosing the type and structure of pension benefit rules (conditions of participation, available funds);
- Assistance in selecting a management entity, looking for an entity that will meet the employer's requirements and not a standard product available to everyone;
- Negotiations with the managing entity and concluding an agreement that duly protects the interests of the employer, negotiations with trade unions or other groups of employees;
- Representing the employer before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) in the proceedings for entry of EPP into the register of programs;
- Preparing or reviewing communication materials regarding the implemented benefit, assistance in the preparation and implementation of EPP administrative procedures;
- Conducting presentations for management boards, trade unions and employees or their selected groups about the implemented benefit;
- Monitoring the functioning of the benefit in the form of: periodic assessments of the functioning of EPP, monitoring the activities of the managing entity, assistance to the employer in the event of renegotiation of contracts constituting the benefit (with the managing entity and with employees), representing the employer in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and during possible inspections and court proceedings administrative;
- Current information about changes in the legal and tax environment;
- Representation in court proceedings related to EPP;
- Other specific needs of employers and service providers related to EPP.
